It is with great excitement that Amity is partnering with Nyaka, an extraordinary organization dedicated not only to providing high-level education, but also to addressing the child holistic ensuring every aspect of their well-being is nurtured.

Nyaka stands at the forefront of holistic child development in Uganda, recognizing that a child can only truly thrive when their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. Their work extends far beyond the classroom: providing nutrition and healthcare, empowering caregivers (often grandmothers) with skills to earn a sustainable living, and, most recently, opening a bank to offer microfinance opportunities that uplift entire communities.

Amity’s team is working closely with Nyaka to adapt our Roots and Wings programs to the Ugandan context. Respecting and celebrating local culture while equipping children with the emotional tools for connection, self-worth, and resilience. Together, we are laying the groundwork for a model that can be replicated across Africa, building a generation rooted in connection and prepared to soar.
